Ready to explore what's next?
Whether you're a young person exploring your options, a parent, or a school, charity or business getting involved, we help young people explore entrepreneurship, employability and further study through real experiences, starting whenever it's right for the individual.
Future Pathways
Real-world programmes and experiences that help young people explore what's next, across three tracks:
Entrepreneurship — developing and testing their own business idea, then actually trading it: setting a price, covering costs, and selling at a market, pop-up or online.
Employability — workplace visits and placements, real briefs set by local businesses, talks from professionals, and practical basics like CV writing and interview practice.
Future Study — taster sessions and insight days on different courses or subjects, talks from students or people already in a field, and help weighing up routes like apprenticeships, college, university or training.
A business-set project can also sit here, when the point is exploring an industry or building employability and enterprise skills rather than practising a general life skill. For example, a marketing agency setting a brief for young people to pitch a campaign idea gives them a genuine taste of that industry.

How Future Pathways Can Help
Try out entrepreneurship, employability or further study, before committing to a direction
Build genuine workplace and industry experience
Develop practical skills like CV writing, interviews and handling money
Explore routes like apprenticeships, college, university or self-employment
Make informed choices about what's next, backed by real experience
Connect with local businesses, professionals and opportunities they might not otherwise find
This is especially valuable for homeschooled young people, who don't always have access to school-arranged work experience or careers guidance, and for neurodivergent young people, who benefit from real-world exposure delivered in a way that suits them.
Real-world experience designed to help young people explore what's next, and make informed, confident choices about their future.
