Worried about your child’s confidence, motivation, or direction?
You’re not alone - and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. We work with young people aged 16+ to help them rebuild self-esteem, explore what’s next, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
Life Skills
Hands-on workshops and projects that build the everyday skills so many young people tell us they're missing: communication, teamwork, organisation, problem-solving, decision-making, creativity, financial awareness and independence. Sessions are creative, outdoor, nature-based and community-focused — not tied to any particular career or next step.
What this looks like
Team Challenge — outdoor problem-solving, den-building, orienteering and group challenges. Builds teamwork, communication and problem-solving.
Community Projects — litter picks, allotment or garden sessions, volunteering with a local group. Builds teamwork, organisation and a sense of contribution.
Make & Create — a craft, art or cooking project, taken from idea through to a finished thing. Builds creativity, organisation and follow-through.
Money Matters — budgeting basics and planning on a fixed budget. Builds financial awareness.
Independence Skills — cooking a simple meal, using public transport, basic life admin. Builds independence.
Plan & Deliver — young people plan and run a session themselves for the group. Builds organisation, decision-making and a taste of leadership.
Some Life Skills projects are set by a local business or charity — real challenges, real stakes, but the point is always building the skill, not exploring a career. For example, a local charity might ask a group to plan and run a small fundraising event: that's teamwork, organisation and budgeting in action, not a step toward a career in events.
